The Rastafari movement is an African-based spiritual ideology that arose in the 1930s in Jamaica.The way of life is sometimes referred to as "Rastafarianism".
Jah is the shortened form of the divine name YHWH (also spelled Jehovah or Yahweh).Rastafari use the terms "Jah" or sometimes "Jah Jah" as a term for God.
these are a series of posters where i have developed three rastafarian characters calling out to Jah.both traditional and digital mediums are used to render the illustrations.refrence to the term Jah is often heard in reggae music and culture.
