Concept design for a speech-based interface to be used by maintenance technicians while reporting regular checkups in dirty and cramped industrial environments. Design-wise, the insight was to combine speech recognition for limited-vocabulary parts of the task with speech recording to support transcription when producing the final inspection report.

The use of cutout animation to communicate the concept was motivated by the need to create a sketchy representation that would encourage stakeholders to engage with the proposed design (and this turned out to work rather well).
