The Firing pin replacement of the tool, also has a locking mechanism agains the main tool.
The most versatile part of the Breechtool, the brush head has no limit as to where it can be used. It is resistant to oils and the environment and can be washed and re used!

Playing around with the internal cavities of the brush heads was a great design challenge, I wanted the most longevity of use as well as a good solid fix onto the metal part of the tool.
CAD model of the Breech allowed me to achieve the best angles and shape for the main tool.
Through CAD modelling I could achieve great presentation shots of use.

The Breechtool™

The Breechtool™ was a project that started in sept 2009, since then it has been a background project, taken on as FMP at university, achieved a 1st and came 3rd in the Royal Academy of Engineering's J C Gammon award for Innovation.
It now holds a patent in US, Canada and Europe and is sold worldwide to Military, Security and recreational users.

We also supply 7 UK based retailers, the UK Metropolitan Police, and West Midlands Fire Arms Units.
to date 6% of the British Armed forces have bought a Breechtool™.
