During my MSc I worked as a consultant with BBOXX to develop a new solar solution. BBOXX design and manufacture well designed solar solutions for less economically developed markets, mainly in East Africa. BBOXX pragmatically assessed the energy needs of people in this area and found they were not being met by grid electricity and as fossil fuels become more expensive, solar solutions can be a cost effective and environmentally sustainable solution.
