Then I did some digital renderings in adobe illustrator.
Once we settled on the design, we decided on printing two layers of color.

Mule Days T-Shirts
Last fall a friend and I decided to make t-shirts to sell at a nearby festival that happens in Benson, NC, every September. It's called Mule Days and is about a week long...picture your local county fair, but take away nearly all the rides and add mules, horses, donkeys, and lots of golf carts. There's also a wide variety of mule-themed merchandise, so my friend and I decided to create a design and take a swing at selling hand-screen printed t-shirts. We weren't wildly successful, but we ended up with a bit of profit and a fun experience.
