My goal with this shoe is to tell the biblical story of Jonah using scripture given characteristics. The bottom of the shoe says Go, Obedience, and Move because as followers of Christ we must be ready to move when God says move and be quick to go and be obedient. If you look at the midsole portion of the shoe the inspiration came from the white stomach area of a whale(Jonah was swallowed by a whale). If you look at the strap going across the mid area of the shoe you see the strap has one whole in the center of it(the breathing whole of the whale). If you look at the back of the shoe you see a scaly worm looking design with a plant like figure above it(God provided shade for Jonah and a worm came and ate the plant in which God provided). Excess Material at the top of the shoe will overlap the shoe on each side(Jonah was thrown overboard because Jonah told people the storm had came because of him). Used Ref: Jonah chapters 1-4.
