Private Residence Window Treatment Drawing - I created this client approved drawing using Autocad and Photoshop. Drawing clearly communicates the style of the window treatment.
Private Residence Window Treatment Drawing - The technical drawing sent to the workroom to be fabricated based on client's design style.
Traveling - My portfolio cover is a photoshopped graphic from a backpacking trip in Europe the summer after college graduation.
ASTRO - A light source brought from conceptual design to production. Created without adhesives or hardware. Winter 2007.
CHANEL - Office design for "Chanel" in Spring 2006. This project includes floor plans & reflected ceiling plans created in Autocad, rendered sections, and renderings created with FormZ and photoshop.
CHANEL II - This image offers a view into the reception area of the Chanel Office as well as the custom reception desk designed specifically for this project, which was based on an abstract form created with formz that expressed the company's overall "feeling" (bottom left).
NEW CITY PLAN - The floor plan and design concept for New City.
NEW CITY - A contemporary, rustic restaurant that serves pizza, New City (named after Naples, the originator of pizza) was created in Spring 2008. This view showcases the "dueling bar area" and more informal bar seating.
NEW CITY II - Separated by the host station and entrance, the more formal dining area of New City, (shown above) offers a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline, efficient and easily accessible seating options and surrounds the guest in luxurious materials.
HARPO - This Harpo office was created in Autumn 2008. Inspired by Oprah's generosity and bubbly personality, "AND YOU GET A CAR!!!" this well organized space focused on ergonomic public spaces that all employees could enjoy, including the employee lounge and conference rooms.
HARPO - Employee Lunch & Lounge, Reflected Ceiling Plan (featuring central "O" lighting concept), and inspiration board.
THESE DESCRIPTION - During Winter 2008-Spring 2009 I focused on ergonomics even further, basing my findings in three important subcatagories: materiality, proportion, and daylighting. After evaluation, I created a dayspa and office space for Aveda in center city Philadelphia. This page serves as a window into my sketches, inspiration and research.
AVEDA - The first floor of Aveda was dedicated to retail space, office, and reception. The design was based around a centrally located stairway and elevator, masked with a 3 story water feature.
AVEDA - The second and third floor were dedicated to the spa area, which features treatments that vary from massage to pedicure to hair styling. Private rooms were located in the back for the massages (and such) to take place. The front area was grand, with high ceilings and sophisticated materials.
AVEDA - The third second floor layout with furniture selections.
AVEDA - The waiting area and intricate stairwell can be viewed in these rendered drawings.
AVEDA - The third floor features the nail care area and more private treatment rooms.
