I was hired to create album cover ideas for The Darkhearts. After studying their songs and lyrics, a series of visual concepts were developed. The Darkhearts' artists' statement says: "The Darkhearts take their songwriting cues from Thelonius Monk quotes, books of voodoo and news of the weird. They perform dynamic original songs about odd things. Copper thieves, fireworks superstore explosions, invaders from space, Stella Maris, failure of luck, halos, maniacs, and bad voltage are all addressed. This band of seasoned songwriting fanatics is dedicated to a collaborative mindset."
