Design LAB: Learn And Build is a classroom design education program sponsored by The Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Chapter of AIA. Local professionals team with educators to guide students through a themed architectural design project, emphasizing the development of research and observation skills, critical-thinking, problem solving, communication, and creative expression.

The client wanted the logo to focus on the PROCESS of designing for the built environment, as well as critical thinking, research, creative expression, sustainability, and team building. It was also required to be compatible with the AFC logo.
