Live Model with Wedding Dress - 24 x 36 - This drawing features my wedding dress that was hand-made by my mother. The model is lounging on a red leather couch and is propted up by a hand-made quilt made by my mother-in-law.
Lounging - 24 x 36 - I started the series of pencil drawings in the winter of 2011. Over the next few months I improved my skill after taking a 20 year break from figure drawing.

I am a fine artist naturally. The pencil drawings are from a live model I hired to pose for me. I am fascinated by people and probably enjoy drawing more than any thing else I do. Except possibly photography. In this time of digital photography the instant gratification of capturing an image to show off is quite rewarding. I am either lucky or naturally talented at capturing amazing images.
