The design and construction of this
bridge fulfilled a summer project of
my own initiative. The time I invested
into this project produced a better
understanding of the design-build
component of architecture. Initially, the design of the bridge developed as a simple solution to a problem. Crossing the creek prior to the bridge installation usually involved a wet foot or a long walk.
