Vignette I - A House for a Coon Hunter Fall 2006 ARC 301 Architectural Design: Intermediate Studio
Vignette I - A House for a Coon Hunter Fall 2006 ARC 301 Architectural Design: Intermediate Studio This project was centered on the experience of coon hunting. The dwelling stretches alongside the lakeshore but never touches the water. In this case, it is not a matter of verticality, but a matter of being out of reach. It is about the unattainable. The focus is on the water. Something you can see but can not touch.

Vignette II - A House for a Coon Hunter Fall 2006 ARC 301 Architectural Design: Intermediate Studio This project is also centered on the experience of coon hunting. The design is an alternate to Vignette One. This design is very dependent on the site. The dwelling elaborates the surrounding environment. As a result, a type of micro-environment of water, earth, and vegetation is established by the vignette.
