Light furniture 2010

Without light we cannot perceive space, and although we have only partial control over natural light, we can accomplish a great deal in terms of artificial light: simply consider for how long our homes have been lit by lamps. Light therefore allows us to make positive changes to our environments and to the way in which they are used; it can increase the depth or adapt to the activities being conducted in a space: eating, studying, conversing …. Light can unexpectedly find its place in mouldings , plinths, steps, which can be transformed into focal elements, creating lighting effects that can strengthen the features of living space. Doing So space can be manipulated and adapted to our requirements and lighting is definitely one of the most powerful instruments for achieving this.
