Mira: Eye Drop Assistance
This is a project I worked on in the Fall of 2014. I was inspired by the time I spent working as a translator in Guatemala at the Hospital de Familia in Nuevo Progresso, Guatemala. I noticed that patients of all ages were apprehensive to the idea of putting in drops because the process is uncomfortable, painful, difficult to manage, and scary, especially for children
It seemed like the perfect opportunity for some design problem solving, and the International Housewares Association agreed with me and gave me Honorable mention in their Student Competition.
