Rabbit BMX Brake Systems was a guided project for Investment Casting, a class which taught the techniques of aluminum casting. This semester long course challenged project conceptualization and process to completion. It began with the creation of wax casts from urethane molds and the John Brown Foundry in Cranston, Rhode Island produced the final brake lever and Kochek Inc. powder coated the final piece.
