Children's Hands-On Museum - Beaver's Bend at the Children's Hands-On Museum of Tuscaloosa is an immersive environment for children ages 2 to 6. Hands on activities - including the "beaver lodge" and "where I live" magnetic wall teach them about the flora and fauna of West Alabama.
Apollo: Voyage to the Moon - US Space & Rocket Center
This exhibit is tells the story of the Saturn V moon rocket. A 1:10 scale model - one of only three ever made - is the centerpiece. A fiberoptic map illustrates the 24 steps to the moon and home again with over 14,000 animated fibers.
Mutable Realms - Designed, fabricated and installed this 30'x70' medieval themed tradeshow exhibit for the E3 gaming convention in Los Angeles, CA.
Alabama Historical Commission - Alabama, like many other states, built retirement homes for aging veterans of the Civil War. The Confederate Memorial Park interpretive center is built on the site of Alabama's Old Soldier's Home. I had the opportunity to design the floor plan, cases, assist with selecting artifacts and photos, and put together the exhibit specifications document for bid.
The Greensboro Historical Museum - O. Henry's Village is a recreation of Greensboro, NC circa 1906. O. Henry - the famed short story writer and Greensboro's favorite son - reminisces about his home town.
