It is not quite possible to live in a city like Istanbul and not be influenced by it. She is a historical treasure. Many poets, designers, artists influenced by her historical wealth. But I wanted to look at her in a different point of view. Istanbul also is one of the most crowded cities on earth and to get to work from home for average metropolitan takes an hour at least. Because of the difficulties as such, the people who live in this city adapted themselves to it. You need your everything to be lightweight. Your car, your bag, the stuff you carry. I took this lifestyle as inspiration and designed metropolitan table to help you with your fast paced lifestyle.
