Optical SHARK - Finally finished this illustration that started in 2008. Used primarily to circumvent the black pen and colored pencil drawing to produce a lively contrast.
Optical Shark developing - This is ground zero of the work started with this art style, I actually took nearly four months to finish it, because every movement, I first of all made ??a sketch of colors not to miss the original art. Since then, could develop illustrations with shorter, although usually each job I do, are sheets in A3 or A1.
Hammerhead Ocean Raider - I decided to do another style as I did in "Ocean Raider" (Whale). This time I made a puco more, having to scan in two parts.
Hammerhead Ocean Raider - This is the part that did not fit in the scan. I had to split into two parts
Hammerhead Ocean Raider - assembly with the two separate parts
GEO Contrast - This work done in honor of geographers. I looked up a study of volcanoes as it is not something that is not usually addressed in my illustrations. But in the end until I liked it very much. I black ink on the contour and used crayons to color tinted. Then I made some interventions with stylus cutting the bottom of the drawing.
GEO Contrast (right) - For the right side of illustration
Ocean Raider - I am studying new visual languages from the work I did in the shark. I decided to make some speeches, cutting the illustration to get a fund that play with the looks. I do not know if this is final color, I'm still searching ... This work was done with pencil Color watercolor "Faber Castle" in outline with a black pilot pen "Paper Mate". Please comment.
Behind the jungle - "Leaving that tropical forest, I found an exit. The open sea..." - Illustration all done with pencil watercolor
Moby Dick - "Moby-Dick, a white whale of tremendous size and ferocity..." - All done with pencil illustration watercolor
Do octopus was already a willingness to carry it out. This photo is from last year (2012) when he was still in the early staining.
I had a lot of work, I decided to make it in layers, that is, had to paint everything and then look for what I should give special treatment then those spaces that is necessary to devote more contrasts.
Takô Maru developing - This image you can see, the three stages of my work. First I have to think about what colors I want to use, remembering the need for harmonization, contrast and focus of interest. I paint all spaces smoothly. Second step, when everything is painted, I will focus on volume through the tonal scale, so I'm coloring again again from this aspect. Third part, I begin to shade the parties to give the idea of overlapping elements and darken a few other essentials. If you see this graphic, you can clearly see these three steps.
Here is a detail of the arms of the octopus
Here already reinforced the contrast in octopus itself and bottom of the drawing. I still have work better upper illustration
The octopus illustration just using photoshop software to study some possibilities of colors and prints to create a T-shirt
This is an experimental study of the shirts in 2013.
The Humpback whale is an endangered species off the coast of Brazil. The work itself was developing at the time this illustration to a future possibility to silkscreen shirts foundations for environmental protection. It took almost one year to finish as I did in A2 size.

Current artistic illustration in progress - August 2013 - "Sunset Shark"
Developing the "sunset shark"
Here is the final assembly of the sunset shark, I will first enjoyed the result, however time to glue the two parts, I did not like the result. The work I most considered the head profile to the first fin front. Why most of the work only presents its half, the tip of front
Current artistic illustration in progress - August 2013 - "Sunset Shark" - detail the size of the work
SHARK VIEW - another view -The development of this illustration, I quite liked the result, but not like the fact of having used two sheets A3 and have pasted later. was strange and took me to try to fix. Since then, I have used paper coil offset plotter so I can make any size without jeopardizing the line a sheet pasted into another.

URCA, rio de Janeiro 2013 developing - The neighborhood URCA in Rio de Janeiro, I thought of lines as a balance of sea breeze, accompanied by the waves. The street and sidewalk are not aligned precisely to give the idea that everything is in sync. I found this work really different to do, is making me change my style a bit.
URCA, Rio de Janeiro, 2013 - illustration with watercolor pencils on paper offset - This is the newest project I'm doing. I'm visiting Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to know better and because I want to live there. I took some pictures and I'm going to paper, my artistic vision over the place. Right now I'm starting the Lapa neighborhood.
The image was altered in photoshop to fit on a business card. The result was quite interesting ...
Ancient Whale - 2013 - This is my newest completed project. Finished on November 23, 2013
Ancient Whale - 2013 - The part of the mouth of this whale I used an idea from ancient tablets as old ships, caravels envergados the seven seas with time. The idea of ??making an orange muscles, it was an idea to show the inside of this whale, its intact over time, there nudity becomes more brittle as an old man at his mountain.
Ancient Whale - 2013 - Make these curved, sinuous lines was intended to simulate the effect that water and light causes on a surface, like a child plays in psicina and reflata the light under the water.
Ancient Whale - 2013 - This is a work that took two weeks to complete. I sought the truth when I was thinking how it would look, use darker colors at all, at sea and in the sky. As the whale, I wanted to use the same color patterns, dark shades, just to get an effect of a whale emerging from the darkness. Not exactly what I designed, so I see the work as a study to improve myself.
Ancient Whale - 2013 - This is my latest artwork done in November 2013. Unlike other graphics using the technique, I spent a layer of crayons to get the grainy effect on the colors. This ended up lowering the intensity of the colors, but gave a new look for work. This illustration depicts an old woman whale coming to the surface once more at sea darkens. So the fact of leaving the darker graphic was purposeful.

Ancient Whale - 2013 - In the early studies with lines using French rule
This project is a series of illustrations depicting everyday situations and some neighborhoods of the city of Rio de Janeiro. In this illustration I wanted to work with lines and colors, and eliminated the buildings and streets, because the idea was not working with a realism, but with the poetry of Bossa Nova
In fact this is a new project that started in December 2013. I'm doing the Rio de Janeiro, but I would not put any type of building or architectural construction. I sought another river of lines, colors and irregular shapes. As a child's play
This is a new project that started in December 2013. The layout of the color pencil is purposeful, really like to stay that way, is how a listing step-by-step of what I did in the whole process, the brand, the tuxtura left on paper, imperfection is something beautiful to be admired
This is a new project that started in December 2013. This is a closer look, to see the risks made ??by colored pencils, you get the idea! I'm thinking of using the same technique that I used to do the "Ancient Whale".
Rio de Janeiro - This is a new project that started in December 2013. I like this photo because it shows an interesting angle and you can see the artwork in full. I increased the contrast in Photoshop to see how the process would I increase the pressure on the pencil color on paper. This is the result and the way I should go ...

Finally I finished (May 18th 2014) - Artistic illustration made with black pen, aquarelle Faber Castell pencils (model art grid) and crayons - 31,45 X1.35cm.
I call this work "sozinho" means alone. This work I made an island in the middle of the Pacific ocean. It took me three months to finish it. Finalized in December 2014.
This is the first color layer where arrange the initial colors. The second layer is now, a gradient overlay (2 stage) in organized colors and with that evolve into a darkening to a density lines. The third step is the completion with the crayons, which bring the drama of the darker colors at dusk. This art is still in the first stage ...
Initial state of illustration in which I intend to leave in a state of darkness. I will cover with orange waves, violet and purple, the blue sea darkening, light flashes through the foam of the waves ...

Almost finishing work - watercolor pencils Faber Castell offset paper. " white" - 2015 .
This work was different than I've been producing since it was a return to a very early style that was and it made me a little comfortable because it did not like the end result
Finally, still have to darken the bottom, where the shark is . The idea was to make a late afternoon almost dark , but the sun still blazing on the horizon. I will then pass a chalk layer of black wax to darken the sky and the sea floor ...
I decided not acrecentar gills , eyes and the mouth of the shark, playing more with the idea that the sea is a tangle colorful thick and thin wires and the shark is part of this tangle too ...

The fun is the play of colors, is a visual joke. In this game, pawns are harmony, balance and direction. The dice are thrown by us, observers, for each number, is like a look that is given to the work. The artist then it should be fully involved in this game and is in contrasting combinations that create the whole idea here, there are no rules for the imaginary.

Then we say that the colors are defined by sinuous lines on paper playing on the viewer's whim. The colors seem to move, then so can earn dimensional life ...
