Background work for RISTER - Various ideas were developed for LPG cylinder transfer. Ideas were also validated with 1:1 test rigs.
RISTER - The final concept called RISTER is a special handle which can be inserted into the LPG gas cylinder ring. Handling of cylinder on ground is made easy with Rister. With RISTER, LPG cylinder can be transferred with controlled rolling instead of lifting or dragging it. A slight twist of the wrist with the Rister, sets the cylinder in roll which can be controlled with ratchet and pawl mechanism.
