What is a "Tiny House"? The tiny house movement is a recent architectural and social trend that advocates living simply in small homes. Living in a Tiny House is a responsible way to consume less. Here is our design for the conversion of an unheated shed located on the Allegheny River near Oil City into a 190sf weekend home for Ariel and Brandon Forbes. Our idea was to disguise the unsightly proportions of the existing building by clothing it with the patterns of the surrounding trees, which are cut into a CNC-cut rainscreen of super-refined exterior grade MDF painted with a high solids, pigmented varnish primer, and topped with a urethane finish. - fisherarch.com
