I was asked to lead the social media accounts for music portion of Middle of the Map Fest, Kansas City's version of SXSW. Of course, I accepted. And so began one of the longest working weeks in existence. 4 days. 130 acts. 50+ hours of social media. From Wednesday night through Saturday night the MOTM Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and app updates were under my direction. I coordinated with photographers, responded to festival goers, monitored engagement and enlisted a couple fellow social media-ites to help (because 50 hours of social without coffee breaks is just not realistic).
