Gear train that transmits motion from the hand crank to the rotor.
CAD drawing for crank. Three layers were sandwiched together to hold a flange on the acrylic handle and allow it to spin when cranked. The top layer was reverse laser engraved.

Wankel Engine Model
A tabletop demonstration of the Wankel internal combustion engine. Primarily made of laser cut acrylic, sign making material was used for labels and the description. Reverse painting of clear acrylic was used to create the bronze and red elements.
