Charcoal on pastel paper. This drawing is from an assignment to reproduce a Da Vinci charcoal drawing. This took roughly 40 hours to finish.
Charcoal on pastel paper. This drawing was for an assignment where we were to portray a deadly sin. I was given gluttony and I represented it with a distorted mouth chewing food.
White Pastel on Black Paper. The assignment was to draw an object that represented the word "night". I drew a candle and had it be the sole light source in a darkened room.
Graphite and watercolor. This is a portrait of my fiance's dog Bailey who had, at the time, recently passed.

Digital Illustration. This was an assignment to create barcode art. I tried to give the piece a darker tone and meaning.
Charcoal on a page of a book. Te assignment was to find a poem within a page of a book. we were then instructed to create an illustration on the page that is based on the poem we created that.
Oils on wood. This is an Alla Prima (2-hour oil painting) depicting Pluto. This was created right after the satellite New Horizons released the first ever photographs of Pluto. I wanted to be one of the first to create a painting of its actual likeness.
