As a creative, how could I NOT do my own creative work for my wedding?
I designed and handcrafted our wedding invitations and flower vase tags, and laid out the text for our programs.
The invitations feature a small print of a watercolor painting my husband created from a photo taken at our engagement party. I folded them into mini cards which were held onto the invite with clear photo corners and featured a handwritten message personally inviting them to our special day.
I took a shortcut on the programs by utilizing a weddingpaperdivas.com template and simply customizing fonts and layout. The stock was stunning. The turnaround and price ... excellent.
Our wedding was outdoors at a beautiful historic farm with a whimsical nature vibe. We wanted everything to emulate nature, simplicity, and of course, love.
