Blüp | a drink warming device
Inspired by the "huddling method" of penguins, Blüp heats up drinks internally. While existing immersion heaters are very dangerous, low tech, and used for special occasions such as camping, this project explores the need for this type of device for everyday coffee or tea drinkers.
From heating a cup up in the morning to keeping a drink warm during the day, Blüp comes in a friendly, pebble-like shape that is waterproof and easily cleaned. A specially designed charger allows it to air dry for sanitary reasons. Blüp comes with a absorbent pouch that protects items around it from getting wet.
