The Black Stallion Dust Cover
My assignment for this project was to pick out any book, TV show, or movie and create a dust cover for it as if it were a graphic novel. I decided to choose the classic book, “The Black Stallion”. I chose to focus on silhouetted imagery with this project. The silhouette of the horse, I found online and altered to my needs. The silhouettes of the boy, the island, waves, boat, and lighting were created by me using the pen tool. Most of the work was done outside of class, and I revised it after getting critiques from my peers.
