The Play, offers an in-depth look at the operations of Chesapeake Energy Corporation's. The 20-page magazine includes a variety of comprehensive articles which explore various aspects of the drilling process in a number of geographical regions. I wrote an article for this issue on the topic of compressed natural gas and its rising use in American transportation.
Produced quarterly, Community Ties is a four-page, regionally specific newsletter with a Marcellus Shale, Haynesville Shale, Oklahoma and Texas version. Dedicated to highlighting Chesapeake’s efforts as a good corporate citizen, Community Ties recognizes the charitable and volunteer efforts of the company and where they operate. I wrote the Oklahoma edition of the newsletter for late 2009 and the entire following year.
