For this project I was asked to cost reduce an existing product line called Wiggimals. These ball shaped animals have to house a devise that vibrates and plays a song.

To reduce production cost by a dollar I choose to use printed fabric that is sewn like a baseball, so only two pieces are needed. I also changed the extremities to ribbons or other bits of fabric to make sewing faster and further cut down on cost.

In order to cost reduce these animals their faces and patterns where changed to a printed fabric, while their legs and ears where changed to ribbons.
This group of characters was designed as an expansion to the Wiggimal line and ties into the Activity Garden toys.
