Lancook

A digital kitchen aid for teaching users foreign language while learning to cook. The kitchen talks users through a recipe in a foreign language, utilising wireless accelerometers to know what utensils and ingredients are in action. This allows the system to correct users if mistakes are made, in aid of learning and reinforcing their understanding of the language.

The project involved designing and manufacturing a full set of 500+ vacuum cast parts, as well as design of the over all product experience. 5 sets were produced, which are currently being by universities across Europe with view to expand in coming years.
