Hexa is a new, comprehensive super mask, developed to remove pollutants, smoke, allergens and other harmful substances from the air you breathe, while keeping you cool and refreshed.

Hexa is powered by twin turbo fans that can supply up to 150 liters of clean air per minute, alleviating stress on your lungs and quickly filtering thick smoke, dust, allergens and other airborne irritants. Paired with our custom air quality sensor and an app that monitors, tracks, and alerts you to unhealthy air, Hexa becomes a truly unstoppable clean air system.

It is the solution for anyone exposed to polluted air; commuters, motorists, athletes, allergy sufferers, and people with weakened immune systems will all benefit from a healthier, cleaner air supply.

The Hexa mask started as a simple freelance project and became so much more, both to me and to Koolmask Inc. When you're faced with extreme technical and aesthetic demands, it really helps to have a product and partner that are so dedicated to helping improve the lives of at-risk people.

A small sample of the many prototypes for each component. From proof of concept to working model for the Kickstarter video; extensive use of multiple 3D printing methods (and various materials), CNC machining, laser cutting and hand-made parts allowed us achieve all of our prototyping goals.
