Portal: Remote Embodied Experience
This was for the one of the most interesting third year project I worked on. The purpose of the project was to develop a way of synthesising experience for tourists. So they could experience the wind, sun, and heat in a remote environment. The project explored the levels of virtual reality, experiences, recreating experiences that could fool the sense. The proposed product is called Portal. The products design intends on using 3d printing as an assembly method. All other technologies consider using the best of whats available. From 16K screens to 46.1 sound and weather haptic feedback loops. Enjoy
