Utopian Community is an interactive internet-based artwork intended to be personally viewed and shared among friends. For every visitor to the site, Utopian Community generates a unique grid of colors that is based on the demographic composition of the United States. Just by visiting the site the visitor becomes part of the work. The visitor gets counted for generating a unique community and the buttons the user does or does not click on becomes part of the final artwork. Utopian Community is a data gathering tool to learn and experiment with how the public will interact with a community based digital artwork.
