Mars Rover
The purpose of this project was to design a vehicle for use in a hostile environment, such as Mars. The Mars Rover was designed to be stable in high winds by being low to the ground and having hollow wheels, allowing cross winds to pass by unobtrusively. In addition, all four wheels pivot about their connection to the body providing both ride damping qualities and raised clearance over obstacles when necessary.
