Final project for Foundations of Design: Studio I. Assignment to create a model of a "Special Place" of refuge that incorporates: 3 dimensions of meaning, a pattern with explicit logic, the rules of composition, color theory, an expression of style, some form of modularity, basic structural principles, and a lighting effect that occurs at only one moment of the year. In addition it must be based off a tessellating unit, inspired by a childhood memory, and utilize only eco-friendly materials.
