I created a small favicon for my website and liked it, so I enlarged it to become the logo for the site. I wanted the logo to be simple, self-explanatory, and easy to use on products.
A screen capture of my site at www.ilovehorses.net. It's powered by Wordpress but has been heavily modified to give it a unique look and new functions. My goal is to engage readers while using colors and designs they're familiar with in the barn, such as leather stitching, bridle headband colors, and saddle texture.
The cover of a Kindle ebook (actually a 1,400-word article) I wrote about the past, present, and future of the rare Akhal Teke horse. The ebook is available on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/The-Akhal-Teke-Champion-ebook/dp/B00BCMCSQ4/
This is the cover of a 700-word Kindle ebook article I wrote about the Budweiser Clydesdales. The full ebook can be downloaded at: http://www.amazon.com/Budweiser-Keeps-Clydesdales-Spotlight-ebook/dp/B00CZFHZEW/
Remember what websites looked like in 1999? This was the front page of Arabian Horse Interactive, a website I designed during my five years of working in the horse business in the 1990s.

ilovehorses.net

I launched ilovehorses.net in early 2011 to share my knowledge of horses with articles about equine history, genetics, breeding, and pop culture. Using Wordpress as a foundation, I heavily modified the theme with several cosmetic and back-end changes to enhance the site. My Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts are all tied into the site.
