My job included me taking useful insights from the aspiring users as well as working on the flow, IA, as well as wireframing and designing the screen along the kindle guidelines.
My another project was about a tool which would let authors directly digitise printed books. The alpha version of the product was ready. And my work included Heuristic Evaluation and giving a detailed set of recommendations to improve the product.
About the product:
The tool allows and author or publisher to take photos of every page of a printed book. The the photos in a folder can be accessed by this tool and using the optical character recognition, page by page the entire book gets digitised. Thus, saving the author and publisher a lot of money and manual labour.
