An attempt to revive the craft of handmade terracotta titles and to uplift artisans (Molela Rajasthan) under Craftroots NGO , Ahmedabad. Respect Factor, Poor Economical Stage (diminishing craft registered under NGO) Expensive percentage of the artisans do not want their next generation to get involve in their craft business The product range was result of studying the entire system of how a craft clusters function, documenting the challenges faced (both economic and personal), buying preference of products by target user. Then after came down to solutions without interfering with the traditional style of work. Idea was to add a utility aspect with a story in the tiles that will increase the interaction and involvement of the user keeping the actual function (wall mount tile) intact. Artisans helped to develop their vision, product ideation and development through one week workshop.
