Concept Moodboard

The objective of this project was to guide students through the entire moodboard process, from concept to fruition. I was inspired by London graffiti artist Banksy to create a gritty and urban moodboard concept. The requirements were to find at least 9 fabrics that spoke to the design concept of our topic. From there, students were required to dress 6 fashion croquis in Adobe Illustrator, create patterns from our fabrics in Photoshop, and then apply those patterns to the outfits on the croquis to create a small clothing collection in tune with overall design. Theme and runway photos were edited in Photoshop to compliment the colors of the fabric swatches and were then mounted to the presentation board. Paint chips and props covered in thread further enhanced the concept.
