In early 2014 I was asked to design a mock product that could potentially kick-start a business in the future. Fresh water is a scarce source in many areas of the world, due to the lack of clean drinking water, many people fatally suffer by consuming contaminated water in order to avoid dying of thirst.
The Vitagua is a filter-cap pendant that can screw onto any standard thread, PET bottle. The filter itself is able to effectively clean 90% of all harmful bacteria in dirty water, making it safe to drink. The cap is also equipped with an area to place a vitamin pill, so that when fluid is passed through the nozzle the vitamin pill slowly dissolves into the liquid.
I got one week to develop and realize my idea to a mock concept stage.
