Vertical Dishwasher
This project is an ongoing project that began with a design competition for Electrolux. Given the current issues with the over sized dishwasher and observing dishwasher users (young and old), I worked on a solution. The Vertical Dishwasher eliminates back strain by bringing the dishes to you. It cuts water usage in half for small families and elderly homes by not using as much space needed for large families. Furthermore, the dishwasher eye sore is eliminated as the dishwasher sinks into the counter top and takes on the same finish when the display is off.
