The funny and desperate actions of “9 Wives” main character propel him through the books pages in a series of graceless and insightful situations both real and imagined. This same sense of humor and disconnection was to be presented on the cover of the book. Taking cue from the fractured reality of the book’s character and his obsession, the disassociation from the mental conception of a single woman creates an interesting and colorful depiction of the text without giving away the story.
