My hometown– Birmingham, Alabama– is an up and coming city infused with both history and innovation. So much (both good & bad) has happened here.

With this new visual identity, the ideas of past, present, and future are represented within the typographic marks, illustrating that the city of Birmingham has allowed it’s past to become a part of it rather than a hidden memory swept under the rug. The BHM airport code is used to emphasize that Birmingham is a destination, not a stop along the way.
