"Seeing Beyond" Ch 3 Spread Arctic Exploration - The third chapter deals with the final stage of exploration, i.e. realization. Content was drawn from the memoirs of a failed arctic exploration who's member finally discovered that the new land they were chasing was really a mirage. The illustrative oncept brings in pixellation as a direct metaphor of the mirage... to closer you get to a pixellated image, the less form you can discern.
