Pluck

Pluck is a tool for collecting and transporting food that has been gathered in the wild. The design means the hard to reach fruit can literally be plucked from the plant with minimal effort.

The magnetic modular system means the user can take out the desired amount of cones for collecting food. Therefore encouraging people to collect enough to supplement their current supermarket diet rather then destroying ecosystems trying to replace it all together.

Pluck encourages a foraging ethos, which is promoted within its online community, to encourage sharing. This ethos is apparent within the product too, with each module having the ability to be taken from the belt and hung up so the whole family can get involved.

The interaction is intended to be simple, intuitive and fun which carries on beyond the initial foraging experience and into the home.

The cone’s structure means it can be used as a colander to rinse any fruit collected and once unwrapped it can be put in the dishwasher.
