Vital: Medical Monitoring Device - Health care at home is essential. However, this service does provide a problem; more people are requiring homecare, but there aren’t enough nurses to fill the positions.
Vital is an innovative and appropriate solution to this problem. Vital has the ability to monitor patient’s blood pressure, temperature and pulse, without the assistance of nursing staff.
Non invasive items will be positioned on the patient, which will be able to relay all information back to a monitoring unit, through wireless technology.
If the monitor detects change in the patients condition, an alert will be sent to a computer at the main nurse station. This will enable one of the staff members to inform the nurse that there is a problem they have to attend to.
The nurses will also have the ability to check on patients throughout the day without having to visit them. This will be done through a secure, internet like, technology that creates a connection between a computer at the nurses station and the monitoring device at patients homes.
With a capability to recognize a problem as it arises, Vital is not only an intelligent monitoring system, but also a safety one.

Elium - 'ELIUM' is a humidifier and aromatherapy diffuser. The dish for the aromatherapy oils is situated inside the unit, it is easily removable for cleaning and is dishwasher safe. The unit is operated with 5 control buttons. It has the capacity to hold 1 liter of water and involves a warning light when the water level becomes low.

The Charlie Lamp - The Charlie Lamp is fun, quirky table lamp. It is predominantly made of polypropylene and sits on a wooden base.
BLANKI - The BLANKI is a portable mat which can be used as a picnic mat or study mat for students. This product contains an A3 sized board which is perfect to rest drinks and food or work on.
The BLANKI is a sustainable product made from woven hemp textile and recycled polypropylene. At the end of the products life, all components are either recyclable, reusable or biodegradable.
The Charlie Lamp - This lamp is probably my favourite piece I developed whilst at university. When the lamp is off, it looks almost sculptural, and when it is switched on it is really beautiful.
Sketches: Luggage - Every designer has an object or an area of design that makes them turn into the equivalent of a little kid in a candy shop. For me its luggage!
