Piebalga, a visual identity for a textile company, 2012

The brief was to create a modern visual identity for a company that makes bed linen from flax. The feeling of the flax bed linen is as if you'd be in your favourite countryside place from you childhood. Piebalga is one of the most beautiful places in the countryside of Latvia, so as a background image, I chose an old house from Piebalga. The house in the picture is was a house of Karlis Skalbe, famous latvian children's books author that every latvian knows. The typography is elegant and classic and the overall feeling captures the emotion.
