Head in the Cloud
The main idea of this project was to create a little cocoon, a place to dream.
It ended up with a mix between a lounge chair and a bed.
I wanted the user to be immersed, thus with this specific shape you have no choice but looking up in the clouds!
I was fascinated by structures and found a material that could be appropriate for it, the felt. Only problem, I didn't know this material at all, that's why I decided to use it.
Actually, it was not strong enough to support itself so I had to improve my concept, creating a cross arched made of wood.
Very rewarding experience
