I decided to design an interactive object which would fulfill a certain function while serving as a "toy". These porcelain balls are still in action, but salt and pepper never spill off because there is only a half of the volume filled and also the rubber ring around the ball prevents it from rolling over.
And last but not least an industrial rubber and a noble porcelain make a great contrast.
