Goodwill Columbus Auto Auction Flyer: Created to increase awareness for the Auto Auctions that raise money for many of Goodwill's services. Concept stems from the idea of a Rorschach test, where from the base image of a car, Goodwill Columbus doesn't just see your old car-- we see opportunity to change lives. Original sketch drawn on paper, edited via bamboo tablet with extra effects on photoshop. Design is reminiscent of a gig poster, stemming from my printmaking background. Recalls the mass production & idea people will tear those posters off the wall for their own use. This piece is meant to reach a wider demographic than traditional non-profit advertisements having a newer, more artistic look as opposed to being sterile & "institutional". The rebirth of rock-gig posters brings back baby boomers--a key demographic-- memories of rock gig posters & earlier decades. The "Goodwill" blue is accented & and sits well on the background image that was edited to have more orange hues.

Retail Store Flyer Design Concept: Follows the idea of what your old "threads" can really stretch out to be with the right vision and tools. Drawn on paper, transferred via bamboo tablet and finished on Photoshop. Layered image with original concept text. Hummingbird is a small bird, showing the power of even small gestures and shows how small a thread is--yet that thread can have a large impact. A hummingbird is also in a piece of art in downtown Columbus (Short North area) graffiti-ed and is a recognizable image for Columbus natives. A different look to catch people's eyes. The bubbles branching from the thread are created by words in our mission statement and emphasize the city itself. Keeping the idea of such a large international organization as a local image is very important for Goodwill.

Flyer created to increase donations to Goodwill Columbus. The primary idea behind it is that we don't only want to pay it forward, we want to create a ripple effect in every direction over our city. Hand drawn on paper, and edited with layers of images and bamboo tablet in photoshop.

Outer folds design for workplace services brochure. Ultimately not chosen for print, but shows conceptual building blocks that all fit together to create one larger image--as Goodwill Columbus does in its own way. Meant to be a leave behind for larger companies who could utilize the services at Goodwill Columbus.
