following the contour of the chair i made larger upright supports for the legs from gator board
i adhered the longer supports to the inside of the leg with double stick tape and fished the edges with gaffers tape

In this project we needed to sit full size mannequins on chairs that were too short and too structurally weak. I needed to add enough height and strength to the origami chairs so that it could hold the sitting mannequin can be sat one them with out collapsing ( June Trim 2008 ). I also was tasked with thinking of interesting ways to activate the space with paper props provided ( non of the styling was my work only props) <>most of the work was in large part a collaboration of a team of 4, painting etc. how ever large breath of the styling and composition was my vision and execution ( all props; color palettes and themes were provided by Nordstrom corporate directives).
